Class 4's Learning Cultures

|

This year, we will continue to encourage children to be more independent in their learning, more resilient and challenge their thinking.

One way of doing this is by using different teaching approaches based on the Kagan Structures.

Below are some images of some of the ones we have used already.

Why not ask your children about them and the impact they have.

Another way of doing this is by using different teaching approaches based on De Bono's Thinking Hats.

Below are some of the hats and what sort of questions children need to ask and answer if they are 'wearing them'.

Why not ask your children about them and the impact they have.

We are also encouraging our children to show the 5 'R's when they are in class.

Could you encourage your child to be all of these at home?
