This week in our Maths lessons we have begun to look at place value and teen numbers. We took our Maths learning outside and played, “What time is it Mr Wolf?” 🌳✨
These are the rules for the game…
Choose the Wolf: One child stands at one end facing away.
Ask the Time: The others line up and ask, “What time is it Mr Wolf?”
Take Steps: The wolf replies with a time (e.g. “It’s 11 o’clock”). The children count and take that many steps towards the wolf!
Repeat! Vary the times and encourage counting up to 12 and beyond!
This fun activity enhances counting skills, listening, and coordination. 🌼
