Today we said goodbye to our butterflies. The children were very excited to let them go, but also sad as they have enjoyed watching over them as they completed their life cycle in front of our eyes. The butterflies were a bit unsure at first and needed a helping hand from Miss Crilly to come out of their home. The children were able to observe them up close, resting on the table, whilst they realised they were free to fly. What a wonderful event for the children to see firsthand.
