What fun we had celebrating Shrove Tuesday/ Pancake Day.
Out tuff tray was set up with all the ingredients we need to make and enjoy pancakes. The children used the rolling pins to rollout their play dough pancakes and they practiced their flipping skills with encouragement from their friends. ????
They shared the equipment really well.
We also practiced our cutting skills, making pancake faces. The children cut out different food pictures to create the facial features. Some children had a little support, some of us used the training scissors and other were able to cut out independently.
For snack we had pancakes. This was a big hit with some of the children.
