Reception children have made a great start to the Summer term. This half term our topic is ‘Pets, plants and ponds’. This week we have started to read the story of ‘Oliver’s Vegetables’ written by Vivian French. The children were very enthusiastic about the basket of vegetables that were delivered to the classroom; and have been involved in lots of activities including learning about where vegetables come from, writing lists and planting in the St James’ Garden Centre.
