This week we have been learning about how plants grow and are reading the story ‘Jasper’s Beanstalk’. Just like Jasper we have planted our own bean and are patiently waiting for it to grow. The children had an amazing understanding of what they needed to help their bean grow. They knew that they needed soil, water and sunshine. They developed their physical skills and hand eye co-ordination when placing the soil into the cup and watering the soil. Over the weeks we will observe what happens to our bean, as it hopefully grows.
