What an incredible adventure our children embarked on during the Freshwater Theatre workshop! 🌿✨
They travelled back in time to meet the legendary Pakal the Great in the stunning city of Palenque! 🏛️ Along the way, they encountered a talented sculptor, an insightful astronomer, and a clever scribe! Each character shared their unique perspectives and skills, bringing the ancient Maya civilisation to life! 🎭
But that’s not all! The children helped a local farmer and his wife settle a debate too! 🤝💚
They also discovered how cocoa beans were used as a form of trade in the bustling markets—who knew chocolate could be so historical? 🍫💰
This engaging workshop not only sparked curiosity but also deepened their understanding of history and culture. We’re proud to see our young learners stepping into new worlds and exploring the fascinating past! 🌍✨
