Well done to the children who represented St. James’ at All Saints High School this evening. They showed amazing endurance and placed 3rd and 1st in their group making it through to the quarterfinals.

Tenpin Bowling North West Finals
Congratulations to …
our bowling team who represented St. James’ and Rossendale again today at the North West Finals in Bolton. They showed wonderful teamwork, cheering each other on and even scored some strikes. We are really proud of their success and sportsmanship! The competition was tough and they came an amazing fourth overall.

Year 6 Girls Badminton Final
Tonight was the badminton final… And still UNDEFEATED our Year 6 girls (Aisha and Sarah) who have played 12, won 12 and are champions of all Rossendale! Taking home the gold in first place!!!

Winning all 6 games! Fantastic performances from our Y6 girls badminton players! They have shown great determination and have qualified for the finals where they will compete for medals.

Basketball Tournament
Well done to the Y5 basketball team who represented St James’ amazingly! Showing fantastic teamwork and endurance.

Year 5 and 6 Dodgeball
Well done to the children that represented school yesterday evening at the Rosendale Dodgeball competition. They showed amazing endurance, teamwork and won the school games value award for displaying HONESTY.

Year 3 and Year 4 Dodgeball
Amazing effort after school tonight from our Year 3 and Year 4 dodgeball team!
They all promoted our school values of friendship, endurance, trust and kindness as they worked together against other local primary schools at the Rossendale Glow Dodgeball Festival.
They even got a chance to take on Mr Marren at the end of the event.

Lancashire Tenpin Bowling Finals
A massive CONGRATULATIONS…
to the children in Year 5 and 6 representing St. James’ again this week and Rossendale during the Lancashire Tenpin Bowling finals. They all showed amazing team work and resilience. Due to finishing in the top 4 places, they have qualified for the North West regional finals in March.
